Hospital visitor restrictions

Changes to visitation at our facilities due to COVID-19**

Metro South Health hospitals and aged care facilities will not be accepting visitors at this time due to recent COVID-19 cases in the community. This is for the health and safety of our patients, staff and community. See the Chief Health Officer - Hospital Visitors Directive and Restricted Local Government Areas for more information.

Exceptions can be provided for patients in palliative care, Intensive Care and neonatal care in some circumstances. Other exceptions maybe made based on emergency or other compassionate grounds. A partner and / or support person/s for a patient admitted for care related to their pregnancy is also permitted. Please make contact with your loved one’s ward so that details can be arranged for specific cases.
